The 4th of July is only one week away, and outside of Christmas this may be my favorite holiday for food. Obviously, I’m talking about the ribs, drinks, potato salad, fruit salad, deviled eggs, sliders, cakes, cookies, petit fours, and everything else that I can stuff into my face.
If you’re like me, then you simply do not have time to dive in and play in the kitchen as much as you’d like for your Independence Day celebration. I’m sure that you have more important things to do; like prep the grill, powerwash the back deck, and get your roots touched up (priorities, people!)
So, I’m here to help you out. On your next visit to the grocery store, swing through the bakery department for some ready-to-serve festive treats. If you’re great with a piping bag, then check out these amazingly simple and statement-setting petit four designs!
When working with petit fours, there’s no reason to over complicate things! Baker Maid’s from-scratch petit fours are delicious on their own, so when they’re topped with just a tiny bit of frosting, it goes a long way! Tip: Wilton 109
