Our Creole Royale and Traditional Dark Fruit Cakes had been New Orleans holiday staples for over 60 years. Our family recipe was developed by Baker Maid’s founder, Doc Mullins. Throughout his baking career, fruitcake was his most popular item—and for a good reason! Baked with flavor-aged candied fruits, almonds, walnuts, aromatic spices, as well as brandy and rum, this cake was a decadent treat during the holidays.
